Eric Cartier

Rocky Mountain Calvary Church

Eric Cartier I realized at a young age that the Lord was calling me to reach those without Christ. Through teachings at Applegate Christian Fellowship and Calvary Bible College, God began to equip me for a life of ministry. In March 2000, I accepted a permanent position with Rocky Mountain Calvary that grew into overseeing and ministering to both teenagers and young adults. After five years of service, I was offered the position of senior pastor. I believe the Lord’s house should be one of prayer and that the Bible should be taught verse-by-verse. This allows God’s word to challenge and encourage us to walk in obedience. My desire is to lead by example, to be a disciple and make disciples, and to share God’s loving kindness. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Amber, for 10+ years and we have four children, Hannah, Adelyn, Ileanne and Wyatt.

Cory Ard

Spoken Word

Cory’s story is a testimony of what God can do through someone who is willing to allow the Spirit to use them. He grew up in Colorado Springs, raised in the troubled background of gangs, sex, drugs, and a long list of violence. In the midst of being one of the leaders of a local gang with more than 200 members, he realized that if his life didn’t drastically change, it would only be a matter of time before he would be dead or in jail. Since coming to Christ he has been a catalyst in seeing God move in the city of Colorado Springs and beyond through outreach and evangelism. Seeing hundreds come to know Christ through outreaches he has led, or have been apart of, it’s evident he is an evangelist at heart. Cory is also a singer, songwriter, and Christian rapper. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his beautiful and talented wife, Ryann Darling, making music, and hanging out with friends and family.

Taj Stokes

Passion City Church

Taj believes that the Church isn’t restricted to the four walls of its buildings.  His burning passion is to see the Body of Christ released into their neighborhoods, communities, and workplaces – unified and loving their cities back into the Father’s Arms.
As the current lead pastor of Passion City Church, he experimented with the traditional church model to create innovative programs to re-engage the Church at the grassroots and the city levels.  This led to being one of the founding churches of CITYSERVE COLORADO SPRINGS, a multi-church effort which unites nearly 40 church bodies and thousands of people in worship and service over one weekend.
In 2017, he was also a part of a small team that helped pass the groundbreaking legislature in the State of Colorado which takes monies from the Department of Corrections budget and reallocates them into at-risk communities through social, community, and economic development programs. This public safety & crime prevention alternative will bring over $6 million dollars into the most at-risk community of Colorado Springs over the next 3 years.

Naomi Cramer Overton

Fuller Seminary

Naomi Cramer Overton grew up near the US/Mexico border and made frequent trips with her parents and six siblings to bring supplies to Tijuana orphanages. Today, Naomi is passionate about journeying alongside Christians to inspire wholeness for all of God’s children.

Starting in elementary school, when Overton helped organize “food and clothing drives,” she has advocated for children in need. At Stanford University, as she gained a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on communications, she studied mass media’s influence on poverty. She served as the first student employee of Stanford’s serving accelerator, the Walter E. Haas Public Service Center, where she helped organize the university’s “You Can Make a Difference” conference. After graduation, she worked as a broadcast news reporter, specializing in government and covering U.S. senators and eventual presidents. She worked for NBC Network News and affiliates of ABC and CBS in San Diego and near Sacramento.

Desiring to start a business that would allow her to be near children of her own someday, she returned to school, gaining an MBA at UCLA’s John E. Anderson School of Management. While at UCLA, Overton served children in U.S. poverty by working as Research Associate for the Johnson & Johnson/Head Start Management Fellows Program. In this role, she conducted foundational research to design a leadership certification program for more than 1,000 Head Start leaders who uplift children and families at risk.

After graduation she and her husband Frank began their own family and Overton formed Cogent Consulting. After the birth of her youngest child, Overton chose a season of full-time mothering, during which she launched neighborhood family ministries for single moms and families suffering from substance abuse. During these years of friendship evangelism she saw children, youth and parents start and grow in their walks with Jesus. Overton received an invitation to serve as President and CEO of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International, where she led and learned from more than 250,000 millennial and Gen-X families. She started the “No Mom Alone” movement at MOPS including a focus on serving moms in poverty.
